Wordle: Scattered Information Design
These are fun to make. All you do is add the words of your choice and you can click the link to create a random word cloud or you can customize the color theme and slight orientations of the words.
Update: They are now called Word Clouds instead of Wordle due to the ever popular Wordle game that took over. Word Cloud just makes more sense now though because that's actually what it is. I hope they sold their name for a lot of money, but somehow I doubt that.
They are now cooler to make. The website looks super sort of tech simple and not website pretty, but it gets the job done and you can do more than ever with it like adding background shapes. I don't recall it having that but then again I could be wrong. This cute squirrel does the trick. Check it out if you love WORDS like me or need to make a presentation or a quiz for students in order to make the words for definitions or KEY WORDS for anything just become SALIENT and fun.
